It is great when someone with a real passion speaks in assembly and today Mrs Sims did exactly that. She spoke about books – this being Book Week. She also got a number of boys to stand up on stage and talk about one of their favourite books. Book Week – that means “Where’s Wally” – boys searching for Wally all over the school. There is also The Shredded Book Competition -who will guess the title of the poor book sacrificed for this? Best of all will be Thursday, when hopefully, most of the school will be dressed up as a book character.
