Bhaktivedanta Manor Hare Krishna temple in Aldenham has become one of our regular visits. Whoever goes on this trip comes back with a sense of peace and well being. At Lockers we think it is really important to expose our pupils to other cultures and beliefs and Bhaktivedanta Manor certainly does this. The pupils were firstly given a talk about Hindu Gods, then they went on a tour of the grounds, which included a trip in a cart pulled by bullocks. My favourite bit is lunch – all vegetarian and always delicious! The pupils also enjoyed getting dressed up as Hindu warriors!
