A school trip to a place where they make chocolate? Mrs Newman’s birthday? “I didn’t realise when I booked!” Of course not…. What a wonderful place to go for a school trip, encompassing history, geography, science, food technology, maths and English – a real cross curricular trip. I doubt that the children will realise how much they learnt, but I do think they will remember the chocolate smells and tastes for the rest of their lives.
