The last Sunday of the summer term is always a moving one as we have our Leavers Service. Today we welcomed Mr Peter Blair, a Housemaster at Haileybury School, to talk at the service. I hope our Leavers were listening as he gave them some very sound advice: do the right thing, don’t try to shirk off things you are not keen on, start as you mean to go on, if you do one good thing others will follow and Housemasters do like whiskey at Christmas! The Choir sang a beautiful anthem “Nunc Dimittis” by Herbert Sumsion which I hope will be one of the lasting memories our Leavers have of the Chapel. Good luck at your new schools!
