On Monday 24th February Year 4 visited the Royal Observatory in Greenwich Park as part of our Science topic about Space. The boys had a wonderful day exploring the exhibitions, flying into space in the Planetarium and touching a real meteorite, which is as old as the Earth and Sun itself! A special thank you to Astronomer Briony for an interesting and engaging workshop where we learnt about the Sun, Earth and Moon. The boys were impeccably behaved and impressed the astronomers with their thoughtful and interesting questions, maybe we have some future astronomers amongst the Year 4 boys.
