The boys competed in the SATIPS national skiing competition. This was attended by over 100 skiers from across the country. It was both an individual and team event. The boys skied incredibly well and the course became very challenging during the second run. I was very impressed with how they supported each other throughout the event and the competitive nature as the boys tried so hard to beat their original times on the second run risking everything and sometimes skiing on the edge. A few even crossed that and took a tumble.
We had some amazing success with the U9 boys being announced champions, the U13 boys runners up and Ethan winning the U13 event with his first run of the day.
