Our art scholarship group trip was a day of two halves… masterpieces from European history at the National Gallery, followed by an eclectic street art exhibition in Camden. Our pupils were particularly impressed by the full-scale murals @colors_festivals which featured artists from around the world. The pupils will be doing some follow up work based on the artists they were inspired by, such as @DanKitchener and his Tokyo street scenes.
The pupils also saw some local Camden street art murals on Hawley Place and Hawley Mews. One of the artists @aspireartwork had been featured in the Colors Festival too. An interesting and inspirational day which was made even better by the sunny weather and the chance to enjoy lunch in Trafalgar Square #enthusiasmforlife #aspirational
