Little Lockers Reception were busy over week 4. As we celebrate our 150th birthday the class learnt about life in 1874-1900s including using chalk and slates. However we reverted back to pencil and paper as the boys developed their handwriting skills as well as learning about blending sounds to build and decode words.
We made our own scarecrows and enjoyed listening to the story of Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper, making a mini ‘old white cabin’ from the story.
