As part of our 150th celebrations we want to extensively upgrade our extra-curricular provision, with the introduction of a Woodland Food Technology Suite. This amazing teaching resource would allow us to teach the boys how to cook and develop essential life skills. Ideas include an outdoor area for a pizza oven and BBQ to allow boarders more opportunity to dine outside whilst focusing on qualities of independence and collaboration. This area would include areas for students to grow their own food to understand the whole process.
As part of the celebrations for our 150th birthday, we are continuing our investment into the school; there are specific projects such as our Food Technology suite as well as planned projects such as the climbing wall and golf simulator. We want to ensure our teaching and facilities retain our high standards, so that we can continue to produce excellent results by being purposefully small with boys who have an enthusiasm for life.
Your gift to Lockers Park helps us provide life-changing bursaries to boys who would thrive here. We rely on the generosity of our Old Boys, their families, and our community to support our school’s success. With your support, more boys can experience a Lockers Park education, creating a foundation for senior school, university, and beyond.
You can contribute through our bursaries, such as the Draper Bursary celebrating our 150th anniversary, or through a direct donation. Every gift matters and sustains Lockers Park’s legacy for future generations. To donate, please contact our Bursar. If you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid may add 25p for every £1 donated.
The Draper Bursary, created in honor of our first Headmaster Montague Draper, celebrates Lockers Park’s 150th anniversary by offering financial support to talented, deserving boys who would benefit most from a Lockers Park education but might not otherwise have the means. This bursary ensures boys can join at any age and prepares them for senior school by Year 9, continuing our tradition of academic excellence and dedication to individual growth.
Funded entirely by voluntary donations, the Draper Bursary supports our mission to remain purposefully small, allowing boys to thrive in a close-knit environment that values innovation, tradition, and positive change. Old Boys actively contribute to this legacy, inspiring new generations.
Every gift counts, and donations can be arranged through our Bursar. UK taxpayers may also boost their contributions through Gift Aid, adding 25p for every £1 donated. Your support will help keep the spirit of Lockers Park alive for the next 150 years.
We have designed a range of gifts, items and sports pieces which will be available throughout our 150th celebration year.
