Music plays a really important part of life at Lockers Park. You will rarely visit the school and not hear someone making music somewhere. Last term a number of pupils took their Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music exams and we are delighted to report a 100% pass rate. Mr Shaw presented the certificates to the pupils in a special assembly this morning – 30 pupils receiving 32 certificates. That in itself is no mean feat, but when you take into account a number of those pupils earned a Distinction or Merit and a number of the Grades were 5 or 6 it is a truly fantastic set of results. To cap off the assembly, two of our pupils, George and Sachin, played some of their favourite pieces, George on the saxophone and Sachin on the piano. We have some really talented pupils at Lockers Park!
