Each year we have a number of pupils who take scholarships. Next week Sergey is off to Oundle, where he hopes to impress them with his musical ability. He certainly impressed the school this morning when he played three pieces on three different instruments. He started with Jazz piano, playing C-Jam Blues by Duke Ellington. He the went on to play his Soprano Saxophone, playing To a Wild Rose. His finale was Warpigs by Black Sabbath, where he showed his prowess on the drum kit. Before each piece Mr Shaw quizzed him about his instruments and the pieces he was about to play. Good luck next week Sergey!
