In the penultimate rugby fixture of the season the U9A team was in action at the Edgegrove Festival. 10 teams were taking part and the standard of rugby played was exceptional. It is always nice at the end of the season to look back and see how much the team has improved. This team has gone from strength to strength and their skill level has really improved. What is even better is they have all really enjoyed playing for the team – there were a few tears shed on the bus home at the thought of having to play cricket next term rather than rugby. The team played 5 very close games scoring a very creditable 11 tries. Newcomer to the team Ikey bagged 4 and Lolu continued his impressive run with another 3. Very many thanks to all at Edgegrove, especially Mr McManus for organising the Festival.
