Today the rest of our Year 7s went up to The Boxmoor Trust to have their session looking at different environments. Unfortunately they didn’t have the glorious weather of Monday – instead they tried to dodge the rain. After throwing their quadrats and looking at the number of species in each square metre they went to the pond to see what they could catch. Interestingly it was a very different catch to Monday – far fewer newts and far more dragonfly larvae. Another great day at The Boxmoor Trust.
