It was wonderful coming back to reconnect with our natural grounds full of autumn wonder. This week in Nature and Environment the children developed knowledge and understanding of the different types of wildlife that live in our school shrubs and how important it is for wildlife at this time of year to hibernate. To round off our lesson Mr Phillips designed very cute hedgehogs in the Design and Technology suite where the children then had to search the shrubs high and low for correct sized sticks for their hedgehogs ‘spines’. They were amazing!!
