Mr Iqbal and Mr Erskine-Naylor took 17 boys to Eton last Saturday afternoon. Mr Erskine-Naylor gave a short tour of the outside of the school including ‘Tap’ (the school pub), ‘Rowlands (the tuck shop), lots of boys’ houses, School Yard, Queen’s Schools (the Science block), the Fives Courts, and one or two places that were closed to the public, and we finished by watching The Association (Eton’s 1st XI) playing Bradfield on ‘Mespots’ (or ‘Mesopotamia’, the 1st XI pitch!). We were delighted to bump into Karan, one of several old boys currently at Eton, and we all had our photo taken with him outside Upper School. We hope that boys and parents continue with their interest in Eton as a destination school after Lockers Park.
